One of the biggest hurdles for live-streaming in smaller churches is the high cost of video equipment. Video switchers are not cheap, especially ones that work in HD resolutions. Roland has introduced a new switcher, the V-1HD that looks promising for smaller churches. It has four HDMI inputs, and it is under $1000. It’s their first product that offers true HD at this price point. Watch these videos to learn more about it.
The closest competitor to this is the Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio, but it requires a computer or control deck to handle the switching control. It also requires that all input signals have the exact same resolution and refresh rate, which is difficult when mixing computers and cameras.

Alright guys, I'm prepared to get semi-reamed for this, but bear with me...
TL;DR: My media console shelf is too narrow for the standard width of an AV receiver (including my old one) and I'm considering ditching this setup for a 5.1 sound bar system + HDMI switcher.
What are your thoughts on going with an HDMI Switcher with a Sound Bar System?
Here is the switcher I'm thinking of getting ($40): https://www.amazon.com/Tendak-Switcher-Selector-Extractor-Splitter/dp/B01HM1RP6G/

Here is the Vizio 5.1 Sound Bar System: https://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-SB4051-C0-Wireless-Subwoofer-Satellite/dp/B00SMBGP76/
Current setup / back story: I currently have an old-ass Denon AVR391 which routes 4 HDMI inputs (Roku, Xbox, HDTV box which pulls OTA, and computer) to two Sony SS-F6000 tower speakers and a 25-foot HDMI to my Optoma HD20 Projector. I rigged up a Logitech Harmony Hub and an Echo Dot and have been loving the ease of switching modes and playing music without so much as raising my voice.
It's been a solid setup until I got this new media console that has a shelf that is only 16 7/8' wide. So frustratingly close to being the right width. My receiver didn't fit and neither will any receiver apparently since the standard width is for rack mounting at 17.1'. I turned mine sideways and all the HDMI cabling was forced to do a tight 90º turn. Plus this looks janky as the side of the receiver is facing outwards. In doing so, I managed to snap off my HDMI monitor out cable the first pass and had to pry out the remains from the receiver output. Since then, I have been experiencing white flashes and I have tried multiple inputs and tested the monitor out on multiple screens to no avail.
I am not an audiophile but I do take pride in having a great setup for watching movies and watching my friends' work and my own (I'm a filmmaker).
Thinking this proposed set up is a good solution for the next couple years before I upgrade to a 4K projector, way better speaker system, and way better furniture. Basically, I'm an apartment dweller now and hoping my next home will be a real house that I can trick out.
EDIT UPDATE: I found a suitable AV receiver that is less than 17' wide! I settled on the Pioneer VSX-21TXH and nabbed one off ebay for $169. It is old and discontinued but it is powerful (110W x 7), 7.1, and most importantly of all, it fits in my annoyingly narrow media console. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Home/AV-Receivers/Elite+Receivers/VSX-21TXH
